Celebration of Mount Tabor Park, one of the oldest urban parks in the United States. Located on an extinct volcanic cinder cone, and designed in 1909 by Emanuel T. Mische and John Charles Olmsted, this urban park celebrated its centennial in 2009, at a time when the future of the beloved open water reservoirs within the park is threatened by new EPA regulations.
